The Associate will support the Investor Relations team and play a key role in managing relationships with current and potential investors. This position involves assisting with preparing investor communications, briefing notes, and ensuring that the CRM system is consistently updated with relevant investor data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations, updates, and quarterly/annual reports.
- Prepare investor-related communications, including meeting materials, updates, and performance briefs.
- Support the Investor Relations team in maintaining relationships with institutional investors, including responding to investor inquiries and requests.
- Draft and update briefing notes for internal and external meetings with investors, ensuring information is accurate, timely, and relevant.
- Provide updates on market conditions, fund performance, and portfolio activities to investors as needed.
- Update and maintain the firm’s CRM system with accurate investor data, including contact information, communication history, and relevant notes.
- Ensure that CRM data is consistently aligned with internal processes and compliance requirements.
- Conduct market and competitor research to support investor relations and business development initiatives.
- Help prepare materials for client meetings, including relevant market trends and portfolio insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Investor Relations, Fund Management, or Financial Services). Credit experience is not essential, but is preferred.
- Experience working at a Placement Agent is also preferable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with CRM software is a plus.
