A leading global multi-strategy investment platform is seeking a Sub-Portfolio Manager to join its systematic equities business on a global desk. This role sits within a well-established, institutionally backed systematic equities group and offers the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of strategies while operating within a highly resourced platform environment. The position is well suited to a senior systematic researcher or junior PM looking to step into a sub-PM role with direct responsibility for live portfolios.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimise systematic equity strategies across global markets
- Own the research-to-production lifecycle, including signal design, portfolio construction, and risk management
- Monitor live strategy performance and implement ongoing enhancements
- Work closely with central technology, data, and execution teams to scale strategies
- Contribute to broader research initiatives and cross-desk collaboration
Requirements
- Proven experience in systematic equities, statistical arbitrage, or factor-based strategies
- Exposure to live portfolio management or direct P&L responsibility
- Strong programming skills (Python required; C++/Java advantageous)
- Solid understanding of portfolio construction, risk management, and execution considerations
