Operations Lead (FCA Registered person) - London based Hedge Fund

Description:
A London based Hedge Fund is looking for an Operations lead for their growing UK based franchise. The firm currently runs a number of both Systematic & Fundamental strategies focussed on both UK/European and US markets, with plans for expanding from both a personnel and strategy perspective in the near term.
The successful incumbent will be required to be responsible for all dealing with regulators, vendors and internal personnel facets so must have a strong reading of hedge fund operations and UK financial services regulatory reporting , with particular experience preparing, reviewing and submitting FCA filings.
Key requirements include:
- - 3+ years' experience within hedge fund, asset management, investment management, fund administration, prime brokerage or investment banking operations
- - Direct experience with FCA regulatory reporting and filings
- - Strong understanding of the FCA Handbook , particularly SUP 16 and applicable reporting requirements
- - Experience preparing and submitting AIFMD / Annex IV regulatory returns
