An established private markets advisory firm is seeking an experienced capital raising professional to join its London-based team.
The role will strengthen an existing fundraising function and support continued expansion across large-scale private markets fundraises.
The successful candidate will focus on raising capital from institutional investors across Europe, working closely with senior leadership on multiple fund mandates.
The position involves originating LP relationships, managing fundraising processes, and supporting execution through to close.
Key Responsibilities
- Raise capital from institutional LPs across Europe.
- Build and maintain relationships with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, family offices, and other institutional investors.
- Support and lead fundraising efforts for multiple fund mandates.
- Originate new investor relationships and expand investor coverage.
- Lead investor meetings, roadshows, and presentations.
- Contribute to fundraising strategy and execution.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' capital raising or institutional sales experience, ideally with a placement agent or similar advisory firm.
- Strong network of institutional LP relationships across Europe.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading large-scale fundraises is advantageous.
- Background in private markets or alternative investments.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
