DACH Fundraising Associate - Private Equity

Our client is a leading private equity firm with approximately €20bn in assets under management, investing across a range of strategies and markets. The firm has established a strong track record of delivering attractive returns for its investors and is continuing to develop its presence across key European markets.

As part of the continued growth of its investor relations and fundraising capabilities, the firm is looking to hire an IR / Sales Support Associate to join its London-based team, with a particular focus on supporting investor engagement and fundraising activities across the DACH region.

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider Investor Relations and Fundraising teams, supporting investor coverage, fundraising initiatives and relationship management across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and commercially minded individual to join a well-established private equity platform, gain exposure to institutional fundraising and develop relationships with a broad range of investors across the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of fundraising campaigns and ongoing investor relations activities across the DACH region.
• Assist with the management and development of relationships with institutional investors, including pension funds, insurance companies, family offices, wealth managers and other capital allocators.
• Support the identification and development of new investor relationships and fundraising opportunities across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
• Prepare and coordinate investor presentations, pitchbooks, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs), RFPs and other fundraising materials.
• Assist with the preparation of investor updates, market commentary, quarterly reporting and other communications, ensuring a consistently high standard of delivery.
• Organise investor meetings, roadshows and conferences, including the preparation of briefing materials and follow-up communications.
• Maintain accurate investor records, track fundraising pipelines and monitor engagement across the DACH investor base.

Candidate Profile:

• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience in investor relations, fundraising, sales support, client service or a similar role within financial services.
• Experience within private equity, private markets, asset management or an institutional investment environment would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• A proactive, professional and collaborative approach, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
