Our clients are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Oil Operator to join their dynamic team within the commodities space. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the operational management of oil trading activities, ensuring efficient and profitable transactions.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing the logistics, documentation, and compliance associated with the movement of oil and related products, while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Trade Execution & Operations:
Manage and execute the operational aspects of oil trades, including trade confirmation, shipment logistics, and documentation processing. Oversee the end-to-end transaction flow from trade inception through to delivery.
Logistics Management:
Coordinate with transportation and storage providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of oil and related products. Track shipments and resolve any logistical issues that arise during transportation.
Documentation & Compliance:
Ensure all required documents (e.g., bills of lading, letters of credit, contracts, invoices) are accurate and processed in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards, including customs and import/export laws.
Risk Management & Problem Resolution:
