This new concept showroom brand is part of Europe’s largest and most successful kitchen manufacturers, established in Germany 80 years ago, recognised worldwide for innovative design and the best engineering. Their vision is to sell high quality kitchens at affordable prices whilst delivering seamless and outstanding service to their customers.
The Kitchen Design role will primarily involve the design, sales and service of new kitchens for the company supporting the business in reaching their sales target for new kitchens.
Requirements and Person Specification:
- Meet the sales targets set for new kitchen design sales
- Build a rapport with our customers to deliver an unrivalled instore experience and customer journey in a friendly and professional manner
- Arrange to meet customers in their homes in order to carry out a measuring service
- Establish the customers brief and create exciting designs in accordance with the company’s design standards
- Compile comprehensive proposals including itemised quotations and plans, elevations and perspectives using CAD and other systems
- Provide expert support to our customers throughout the purchasing process; design consultation, planning and quotation, installation and completion
- Ensure that all customer service levels are met
- Arrange site surveys with their customers and co-ordinate installations with their fitting teams
General Responsibilities:
- Keep up to date with trends in design
- Keep in touch with customers at all stages of their journey
- Order raising of furniture, appliances and worktops etc, using computerised sales system
- Ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately first time
- Monitor outstanding customer balances and chase cash in line with our terms and conditions
- Greet and assist customers visiting the showroom to ensure they have a great first impression and memorable experience
- Answer incoming telephone enquiries
- Follow up at pace all web generated enquiries
- General filing; maintaining files are in a good order
- Keep the office, showroom sets and own desk clean and presentable for customers
- Contribute to the development of the company with new ideas and suggestions
