Tableau Developer – Finance Location: Basingstoke Hybrid 2 days per week in office £275 – £330 p/d Umbrella Bonus £7,500 Car Allowance Excellent Pension if made permanent I’m supporting a leading international healthcare and life sciences group to recruit a Tableau Developer to join their commercial finance team on a temp to perm basis. This role will be central to how data is transformed into insight across the UK & Ireland business, working in close partnership with senior finance and commercial stakeholders. You’ll be the go-to person for all things Tableau, driving automation, improving data visualisation, and helping the business make smarter, faster decisions. Key Responsibilities Build, design, and maintain Tableau dashboards to support financial planning, sales, operations, and pricing teams Partner with FP&A, commercial finance, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights Own the development of internal BI reporting solutions that improve transparency, data-driven decision making, and performance tracking Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity and optimise dashboard performance Collaborate with IT and data teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from Oracle, Cognos, Longview and other enterprise platforms Standardise and automate reporting processes where possible Support the adoption and training of Tableau usage across non-technical teams Contribute to the broader data and analytics strategy – help shape how the business uses data moving forward Ideal Candidate Profile Proven experience in Tableau development – ideally in a commercial finance, FP&A, or pricing environment Able to translate business needs into clear, effective data visualisations Experience working with tools such as Oracle, Cognos, Longview, or similar Comfortable managing large datasets and ensuring reporting accuracy Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bonus if you\’ve worked in a multinational or matrix business environment This is a high-impact role with excellent visibility and the chance to make a tangible difference to how the business operates.
