We are partnering with a professional services business in the recruitment of a Manager for their global corporate services business.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will take a leading role in delivering high‑quality accounting services to a diverse portfolio of holding companies and trusts. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage client onboarding from an accounting perspective, and support the development of junior team members. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong accountant who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend client meetings and act as a primary accounting contact
  • Lead the onboarding of new clients from an accounting and reporting perspective
  • Review transaction documents and financial records
  • Prepare financial statements under IFRS or UK/US/Canadian GAAP
  • Take full ownership of end‑to‑end financial statement preparation
  • Manage, train, and mentor team members
  • Lead interactions with auditors and clients to ensure timely completion of deliverables

Experience & Skills Required

  • 2+ years’ post‑qualification experience ideally with experience of financial services and a background within a Top 20 accounting firm
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and multiple GAAP frameworks
  • Proven ability to review transactions and lead accounting deliverables
  • Experience managing trainees or newly qualified accountants
  • Background in management accounting and financial statement preparation
  • Financial reporting experience advantageous but not essential
  • Proficiency with accountancy software (Xero preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong MS Office capability

  • ACA or ACCA qualified
