Want a seat at the table, not just a seat in finance? Venture Recruitment Partner is proud to partner with an innovative, rapidly growing international business that is transforming a traditional industry through technology, innovation and ambitious growth plans.

This is not a role for someone who simply wants to report the numbers. We're looking for a commercially astute Finance Business Partner who wants to influence decisions, challenge thinking, drive performance and become a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across the business.

You will work closely with operational and commercial leaders, helping them understand the financial implications of their decisions, identifying opportunities for growth and profitability, and ensuring finance plays a key role in shaping the future direction of the business.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible role where you'll operate as the financial conscience of the business, partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions to improve decision-making and drive commercial outcomes. You'll be joining a business that is scaling quickly, investing heavily in its future and actively encouraging challenge, innovation and fresh thinking. If you're ambitious, curious and enjoy influencing beyond finance, this could be the perfect next step.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Challenge assumptions, influence investment decisions and provide robust commercial insight
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
  • Build business cases, scenario models and investment appraisals to support growth initiatives
  • Analyse profitability, margins, costs and performance trends to identify opportunities and risks
  • Translate financial data into meaningful insights that drive action
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, commercial, technology and leadership teams
  • Support pricing, resource allocation and strategic investment decisions
  • Drive continuous improvement across reporting, planning and performance management processes
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing constructive challenge and helping shape business strategy

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
  • Strong Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance or FP&A experience
  • Confident communicator who can influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance detail with the bigger picture
  • Proven experience building relationships across multiple functions
  • Strong analytical and modelling skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insight
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, changing and high-growth environment
  • Ambitious, proactive and eager to develop your career within a growing business

Why Join?

This is a genuine opportunity to step into a role where finance is viewed as a strategic partner, not a support function. You'll have exposure to senior leadership, the opportunity to influence key business decisions and the chance to play a meaningful role in a business with significant growth ambitions. Perfect for someone who enjoys asking "why?", challenging the status quo and helping businesses make smarter commercial decisions. If you're looking for a role where you can influence, partner, challenge and make a visible impact, we'd love to hear from you.

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
