Chilworth Partnership are assisting a world leading, household brand name in their search for a Senior Indirect Tax Manager. This is a critical role within their Centre of Excellence, where you will design and implement best in class processes for indirect taxes. Reporting to the VP of Finance, responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development of indirect tax reports, offering clear insights, identifying risks and supporting strategic business decision-making.
- Responsible for the timely submission of VAT returns prepared by the EMEA Indirect Tax compliance team, including review and/or delegation to other team members.
- Develop and implement efficient and scalable processes for VAT, GST, WHT, and other relevant taxes across EMEA in line with systems deployment.
- Lead, mentor and develop the indirect tax team, cultivating high performance and collaboration.
- Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives across indirect tax operations.
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards for all tax processes.
- Partner with Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Accounts Payable teams to ensure tax processes are integrated and optimised for accurate, timely reporting.
Your background:
- Have a degree or qualification in accounting, finance, tax, or a related field.
- Significant experience in indirect tax within a multinational organisation or professional services firm.
- Have a strong understanding of indirect tax regulations in international territories.
- Experienced in process design, improvement, and testing with ability to think both strategically and operationally.
- Excellent background in motivating people, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
- Fluent in an additional European language would be beneficial but not a pre-requisite.
