Basingstoke + hybrid working A leading global provider of healthcare and life sciences solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join its dynamic finance team. This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact across commercial and operational functions in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Role Overview The Senior Finance Business Partner will lead FP&A activities for the UK business. This includes full ownership of the P&L, strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business partnering across multiple functions. An immediate is available start for the right person as a temp to perm or permanent option. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews and forecasts. Own and enhance all management reporting and analytics. Drive strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Partner with commercial teams to support sales objectives and profitability. Oversee cost analysis, capital expenditure reviews, and commission frameworks. Manage internal controls, SOX reporting, and financial close processes. Champion continuous improvement in reporting systems and data reliability Lead special projects and support long-term strategic initiatives. Required Experience & Skills Fully qualified accountant who is highly commercial and a proven finance business partner 5β7 years of FP&A leadership experience, ideally in manufacturing or medical industries Proven track record managing finance professionals and complex processes Strong analytical, problem-solving, and first-class communication skills Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial systems (e.g., Cognos, Tableau, Oracle) Experience with operations accounting and working capital management.
