Job Title: Interim Head of Financial Reporting Location: Woking Contract Type: 12 Month FTC Job Description: Chilworth Partnership are delighted to be supporting a large, dynamic business, to appoint an Interim Head of Financial Reporting to oversee financial operations of the business. Overseeing a large team, the successful applicant will ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance, optimization of processes and will drive efficiencies across the function. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS reporting standards. Oversee statutory audit processes and deliverables, ensuring compliance with internal controls, VAT requirements, and operational policies. Support Balance Sheet, Cashflow Forecasting, Budgets, and Forex reporting. Lead operational areas such as reconciliations, FX policies, revenue recognition, accruals, WIP, and delegated authorities. Take ownership of month-end and year-end close processes and reporting deliverables. Review and enhance internal processes, controls, and system improvements to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Effectively manage, train, and develop the finance operations team, setting goals, conducting appraisals, and ensuring high performance. Oversee team workflows, customer service delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. Qualifications and Experience: Full qualification (ACCA / ACA desirable). In-depth technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP / IFRS. Experience of managing / motivating a large operational finance team. A track record of driving improved efficiencies
