About the firm

Built on a people-focused ethos, the firm places equal value on professional excellence and creating a supportive, inclusive working environment where individuals can thrive. About the Serious Injury team
The Serious Injury team is widely regarded for its expertise in complex, high-value personal injury claims. The team regularly secures substantial compensation for clients and takes a holistic approach to each case, considering not only financial outcomes but also long-term care, medical, practical and emotional needs. Work undertaken by the team includes complex and catastrophic injury matters such as adult and child brain injuries, serious orthopaedic injuries including amputations, and fatal accident claims, including inquest work. Matters are handled collaboratively within small partner-led teams rather than being allocated to a single fee earner. This approach allows clients to benefit from collective expertise, while providing team members with exposure to high-quality work, support from colleagues and strong opportunities for development at all levels.
The role
The successful candidate will join a supportive and experienced team, contributing to a varied caseload of serious injury matters. The role offers the opportunity to develop technically while working closely with colleagues across the team and supporting clients through challenging and often sensitive circumstances.
Candidate requirements
Applicants must be a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with prior experience in personal injury work. Exposure to catastrophic or serious injury claims is highly desirable. While PQE is not the sole measure of suitability, the role is expected to suit candidates with at least four years’ relevant experience. You will be able to remain calm and organised under pressure, take a proactive approach to your work and provide support to colleagues when needed. Strong interpersonal skills are essential, together with empathy, emotional intelligence and confidence in dealing with vulnerable clients and their families. The firm is seeking individuals who enjoy collaborative working, are committed to delivering excellent client care and share a values-driven, human-first approach. Clear communication skills, creativity in problem-solving and a genuine desire to make a positive difference are key. If you are looking to progress your career within a specialist serious injury practice and feel aligned with this approach, applications are strongly encouraged.
What’s on offer
Our client offers a flexible and inclusive working culture, with support for hybrid and flexible working arrangements where possible. The firm recognises the importance of balance and wellbeing alongside professional achievement. The role comes with a competitive benefits package including generous annual leave, private medical insurance, income protection, life assurance, a firmwide bonus scheme and a contributory pension. Ongoing training, development and clear progression opportunities are also a core part of the firm’s offering.
