Director – Interim & Contract I Finance & Accountancy I Venture Recruitment Partners

Venture Recruitment Partners are collaborating with a recently formed, Private Equity backed Group, to recruit an FP&A Analyst on an interim basis. The Group are entering a crucial period of growth, both organically and via acquisition, highlighting the need to expand their commercial finance function.

FP&A Analyst – Responsibilities

  • Analyse financial and operational data to deliver meaningful insights into business performance, supporting strategic and tactical decision-making.
  • Provide commercial analysis on revenue trends, profitability, client performance, service line contribution and material cost items ensuring recommendations are grounded in real-world commercial considerations.
  • Develop financial models to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring robust and dynamic performance tracking.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business, including senior leadership, to provide financial clarity and drive informed decision-making.

FP&A Analyst – Requirements

  • Experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, or business partnering role ideally within a professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics, P&L dynamics, and business performance drivers.
  • Ability to synthesise large volumes of financial and operational data into actionable insights.
  • A pragmatic approach to financial analysis, ensuring insights are not just theoretically sound but commercially viable.
