Financial Accountant

Are you a Senior Financial Accountant seeking your next contract assignment?

Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a leading healthcare business in Newbury who are seeking someone for an initial 3 – 6 months.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant include:

• Review P&L and balance sheet information to identify exceptions and provide information and insight to ensure correct journals and results.
• Prepare/review statutory financial statements
• Lead/review a variety of internal and external tax compliance activities
• Liaise with external tax advisors as required
• Own aspects of revenue recognition
• Assist with all internal and external audits, and other compliance activities
• Build strong, supportive relationships with team members and stakeholders across the site and the broader organisation.

Key Requirements of the Senior Financial Accountant include:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) or QBE
• Experience delivering UK statutory accounts and tax compliance activities
• Practical experience of using Microsoft Excel to an advanced level

Pay Rate – £300-400/day (inside IR35)

Hybrid working – 2 days a week in the office, 3 days a week from home
