Overview
This role is for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of a close-knit finance function for a growing SME on the outskirts of Poole. You will work closely with the Group Finance Director and play a key role in strategic decision-making, responsible for the company’s finances and managing a small team.
Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts with insightful commentary
- Prepare daily cash forecasts and update the company forecasting model
- Owner of bank accounts, prepaid cards, and credit card facilities
- Review weekly payroll and prepare monthly payroll
- Manage indirect taxes including PAYE, VAT, and CIS
- Support statutory accounts preparation, providing year-end information to external auditors
Experience and Qualifications
- CIMA/ ACCA / ACA qualified
- Knowledge of manufacturing / FMCG process would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive, hands-on approach
Salary and Benefits
- £75,000 - £80,000 Basic salary
- 25 days holiday (growing 1 day per year of service)
