Our client, a well-regarded regional law firm in Southampton, is seeking an Associate (Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive) to join its Corporate team. The firm has grown significantly in recent years and is recognised in leading legal directories for the quality of its work. It offers a supportive, people-focused environment with strong career development opportunities and a broad range of high-quality corporate matters.

The Corporate team advises entrepreneurs and mid-market businesses on a variety of transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, mergers, restructures, fundraisings and general company law matters. The role will involve managing your own caseload, leading on transactions appropriate to your experience, and supporting senior lawyers on more complex matters. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to business development and mentor junior team members.

This position would suit a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in corporate law, typically around 3–5 years’ PQE, although this is flexible. Candidates should be proactive, adaptable, commercially aware and confident working in a collaborative team environment.
