We are working with a fast-growing specialist law firm seeking a Finance Administrator to join their collaborative Finance team. The role will primarily involve resolving unidentified client account receipts and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of client finance operations. This is an office-based position located in Whiteley, with the option of 2/3 days hybrid following probation.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining an accurate log of items returned and items to be returned.
- Maintaining a reconciliation of funds held in both the general Ledger and Bank accounts.
- Monitor and resolve queries received.
- Processing payments in the bank.
- To keep the email inbox tidy, so actions outstanding are clear to team members.
- Entering any journals required in Sage.
Skills:
- Eager and resilient with excellent attention to detail.
- Reconciliations experience.
- Excel skills, with a structured approach to analysis and presentation of outputs.
- Familiar with accounting systems and with processing bank transactions.
- Ability to work calmly and without supervision.
- A positive can-do attitude, strong collaboration and communication skills, willing to make a difference.
