We are currently working with an established organisation to recruit a Part Time Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day financial operations. This is a great opportunity for a finance professional looking for a part-time role with varied responsibilities in a stable environment.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the organisation’s financial processes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Supporting year-end processes, including audit preparation
- Processing and maintaining payroll records, including HMRC submissions
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payments
- Supporting budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Maintaining the asset register and financial documentation
- Ensuring internal controls and procedures are followed
- Assisting with financial reporting and ad hoc analysis
About You
We are looking for a candidate with strong organisational skills and a solid grounding in finance.
Essential:
- Experience in a finance administration / accounts role
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good IT skills and experience using accounting systems
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- AAT qualification (or working towards)
- Experience supporting month-end or year-end processes
- Exposure to payroll, VAT, or budgeting
- Experience in a small organisation or varied finance role
