Venture Recruitment Partners are working with an exciting international business on their search for an experienced Project Accountant to join them on a short term contract. This role will report to the Head of Finance and has a chance to extend due to the critical nature of this project. This best suits a Project Accountant with strong data analysis and systems skills.

Basingstoke - Hybrid working

Rate - £400 - £450p/d Outside IR35

Key Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:
  • Build a new revenue recognition process that maintains current accounting policies and procedures and a repeatable way on excel.
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place in the process to ensure any errors/data feed issues surface.
  • Work with 3rd party providers, internal finance & technology colleagues to understand the challenge, and keep them abreast of the solution design & delivery process.
  • Establish and maintain strong data governance, access security, and change‑control frameworks for Finance reporting and BI.
Key Skills of the Project Accountant:
  • Qualified accountant.
  • Very strong data analysis and systems skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
