Audit Senior Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments in accordance with UK auditing standards.
- Lead and perform audit fieldwork, including substantive testing and analytical review procedures, both remotely and at client sites.
- Take ownership of key sections of audit files, ensuring work is completed accurately, thoroughly and on time.
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client records and identify significant issues or risks for management review.
- Review the work of junior auditors and provide guidance, coaching and constructive feedback.
- Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact throughout audit engagements.
Audit Senior Requirements
To be considered, you will have:
- ACA, ACCA or CA qualification (or be within 12 months of qualifying).
- Strong audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment.
- Experience managing audit assignments and taking responsibility for audit sections from planning through to completion.
- Previous experience reviewing junior team members' work and supporting their development.
