I am recruiting on behalf of my client which is an IT recruitment agency based in Cheltenham. Applying for this role is straightforward. I am recruiting either an experienced IT recruitment consultant with proven experience in the IT sector or an experienced recruitment consultant from another sector that would be interested in transferring skills to operate in the IT sector.
The Role:
- End-to-End Recruitment β managing the full recruitment cycle
- Business Development β cold-calling / making outbound sales calls to prospective clients to win new business and develop relationships with new customers
- Client Meetings β booking / attending meetings with existing and potential clients
- Relationship Building β developing strong relationships with new clients in your specialist markets
- Targets β building and closing a βnew businessβ sales pipeline to deliver against agreed sales targets
- Negotiation β negotiating T&Cs with clients to ensure 'win-win' for both parties and to promote long-term, sustainable business at healthy % margins
- Talent Pooling β building βhotlistsβ of highly-skilled / in-demand candidates who we can place with clients repeatedly
- Recruitment Administration β recording daily activity using our state-of-the-art Bullhorn recruitment system (client conversations, CV submissions, interviews, offers, contract generation, etc.)
- Customer Experience β ensuring clients experience the highest possible standards of customer service and satisfaction
Skills & Experience Required:
- New Business Sales β proven experience in a βNew Businessβ sales role (ideally B2B / technical sales), including dealing directly with clients by phone, email and face-to-face meetings
- Cold-Calling β telephone-based sales experience, including βoutboundβ sales calls and attending F2F client meetings
- Recruitment Experience β previous recruitment industry experience is advantageous but is not essential
- Computer Literacy β proficient user of MS Office, Web / Internet, Social Media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook)
- Qualifications β Graduate / Degree preferred, but we are equally interested in your experience and personal qualities
- Driving License β full UK Driving License preferred, as the role will involve travelling to client sites
