Responsibilities
- Deliver a person‑centred service that promotes independence.
- Complete dynamic risk assessments and support plans.
- Promote wellbeing and manage risk appropriately.
- Ensure adherence to company and national policies and procedures.
- Work flexibly, including outside normal hours if required.
- Support people in accommodations or their homes, facilitate safe discharges and avoid admissions.
- Collaborate with professionals across a range of backgrounds.
- Maintain compliance with mandatory and additional training to enhance professional development.

Essential Skills
- Previous experience desirable, ideally in Mental Health, LD, or Neurodiverse support.
- Ability to positively address and challenge inappropriate or negative behaviours and attitudes.
- Experience using therapeutic de‑escalation and/or crisis intervention techniques.
- Ability to respond to changing needs and meet deadlines.
- Skill in encouraging and managing participation and involvement from the people you support.
- Computer literate, confident in using all Microsoft Office programmes.
Desired Skills
- Experience supporting people with a mental health condition within a community‑based service.
