Are you ready to lead a team that transforms lives? At Venture-People, we are looking for a compassionate and driven Team Leader to guide our dedicated support staff in Eastbourne. You will be at the heart of a service that empowers individuals with complex mental health needs to live independently and thrive in their own homes.
Job Opportunity
What You’ll Do
- Lead a skilled team supporting individuals in a single-site setting.
- Deliver person-centred care that promotes recovery, autonomy, and confidence.
- Manage dynamic risk assessments and incident responses.
- Collaborate with Service Managers and referral agents to shape tailored support plans.
- Balance hands-on support with administrative leadership.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and high-quality service environment.
What You’ll Bring

- Leadership experience with a positive, enabling team culture.
- Confidence in crisis intervention and therapeutic de-escalation.
- Tech-savvy skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to challenge negative behaviours constructively.
- Flexibility to respond to service needs, including occasional out-of-hours support.

Essential Skills
- Previous experience in a management or supervisory role, ideally Mental Health/LD/Neurodiverse support.
- Experience developing person centred support/action plans.
- Able to pivot and respond quickly to changes in the workplace.
- To encourage and manage participation and involvement from the people we support.
- Computer literate, with confidence in using all Microsoft office programmes.
Desirable
- We are not a CQC registered service, but some knowledge of CQC regulations would be an advantage.
- Work in a mental health supported accommodation service.
