Job Description

As a Territory Manager at Venture Life, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing relationships, and driving sales growth within the independent pharmacy sector across your assigned territory.

The Territory Manager

  • Developing and implementing sales plans to increase market share, revenue, and brand awareness within the independent pharmacy sector.
  • Identifying and engaging with prospective new customers generating opportunities and expanding the customer base.
  • Leveraging your existing network of contacts to build strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in independent pharmacies.
  • Taking responsibility for the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Developing, reviewing and executing an efficient call plan to maximise KPIs, average daily call rates and, order generation.
  • Executing daily planned visits to active and prospective pharmacy accounts.
  • Regularly analysing market trends and competitor activities, providing actionable insights to enhance sales performance.
  • Providing training and product information to pharmacy staff, in line with trade marketing guidelines, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to effectively promote Venture Life products.
  • Participating in Pharmacy trade shows, events, and business meetings to promote the company's products and strengthen its market positioning.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with promotional strategies, ensuring maximum impact in the marketplace.
  • Capturing daily activity in Field Strike.
  • Monitoring and reporting on sales performance, KPIs, territory trends and customer feedback to senior management on a regular basis.

The Successful Territory Manager

  • Proven track record working in a field sales role within healthcare, pharmaceutical or consumer healthcare
  • Proven track record working with independent pharmacies and key decision makers in the consumer healthcare space
  • Knowledge and expertise within consumer healthcare and OTC pharmaceutical products
  • Strong sales acumen with the proven ability to drive revenue growth
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and drive results in a target-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and persuasively
  • Strong ability to identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Valid driving license with willingness to travel extensively within the designated sales region.

  • £38,000 - £45,000 per annum base salary (DOE)
  • £5,000 car allowance
  • 10% bonus
