Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Skilled Labourer to join our team for a 3-month project in London. This role involves performing general tasks such as cutting timbers and conduit stripping while working at height using an IPAF. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the necessary certifications to ensure safety and efficiency on-site.

Responsibilities

– Perform general labour tasks, including cutting timbers and conduit stripping.
– Operate equipment at height using an IPAF in a safe and responsible manner.
– Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site protocols.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

– Valid CSCS card (essential).
– IPAF certification (preferred).
– Proven experience in a similar skilled labourer role.
– Strong understanding of health and safety practices on construction sites.
– Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Day-to-Day

– Begin each day with a safety briefing and review of daily tasks.
– Carry out assigned tasks such as cutting timbers and stripping conduit.
– Operate IPAF equipment to complete tasks at height.
– Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
– Monitor and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
