We are seeking skilled and qualified JIB Electricians to join our team on a prestigious project near Reading. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a long-term project with a duration of 12 months. Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations, particularly those relevant to MOD projects.
• Conducting thorough testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
• Collaborating with other team members and contractors to ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed and reporting progress to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid JIB Gold Card.
• Proven experience working as an electrician on large-scale projects, preferably within the MOD or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive induction process (estimated to take 1 month).

Day-to-Day

• Completing assigned electrical installations and maintenance tasks.
• Conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Addressing any technical issues or challenges that arise during the course of the project.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
