Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced 360 Driver to join our team for a 1-year project based in Trafalgar Square, London. This role involves working on bulk excavation tasks, specifically digging out with a small under-ton machine. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary certifications and a strong commitment to safety and precision.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 360-degree excavator to carry out bulk excavation tasks.
- Dig out using a small under-ton machine with precision and efficiency.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Valid NPORS or CPCS certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience operating a 360-degree excavator, particularly with small under-ton machines.
- Strong understanding of bulk excavation processes and techniques.
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols on construction sites.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Day-to-Day
- Operate the 360 excavator to perform excavation tasks as per project requirements.
- Inspect and maintain the machine to ensure it is in safe working condition.
