Overview
We are seeking skilled and reliable Dumper Drivers to join our team for a minimum of 6 weeks in Tilbury, with the potential for an extended contract based on performance. Responsibilities
- Operate a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently on-site.
- Assist with general site duties when not operating the dumper.
- Perform end-of-day cleaning and maintenance of the plant, including a 30-minute cleaning session before the close of each shift.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and site protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth site operations.
Qualifications
- CPCS certification is preferred; however, NPORS certification will also be considered.
- Proven experience operating a forward tipping dumper.
- Strong understanding of site safety and operational protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively and assist with additional tasks as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
Day-to-Day
- Work a 9.5-hour paid shift, operating the forward tipping dumper for the majority of the day.
- Dedicate the last 30 minutes of the shift to cleaning and maintaining the plant.
- Support the team with other site duties when not actively operating the dumper.
- Maintain a professional and safety-conscious approach throughout the day.
