Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our team for a short‑term project in London. This is a one‑week contract role that involves putting plywood over openings. A valid CSCS Card is mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install plywood over designated openings with precision and efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and adheres to safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines on‑site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and tools.
• Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Day‑to‑Day

• Arrive on‑site promptly and prepare tools and materials for the day’s tasks.
• Measure and cut plywood to fit specified openings.
• Securely install plywood, ensuring stability and safety.
• Communicate effectively with the team and site supervisor to address any challenges or adjustments.
• Conduct a final inspection of completed work to ensure it meets project standards.
