The Role
As an Associate in Antler’s Elevate Global Fund, you will work closely with senior members of the investment team to source, evaluate, and support high‑potential startups at Series A to Series C, with a primary focus on Series A and B. You will be involved across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through to deal execution and post‑investment portfolio support. You will be based in London, focused on opportunities in Europe, with occasional opportunities to look at deals across our global presence. This is a hands‑on role suited for individuals who are intellectually curious, commercially sharp, and excited to work at the intersection of technology, business, and entrepreneurship. Antler Elevate’s portfolio includes companies such as Lovable, Airalo, Peec, Micro1, Fluidstack, Wrtn Technologies, and Sona.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate high-quality investment opportunities globally, with a focus on Europe
- Analyze markets, industries, and technology trends across sectors including AI, B2B/SaaS, consumer, fintech, deep‑tech, and healthtech
- Lead and support investment diligence (quantitative and qualitative), including market sizing, competitive analysis, and business model assessment
- Financial analysis (unit economics, retention, LTV/CAC, returns)
- Product and technology assessment (roadmap, scalability, feasibility)
- Prepare and present investment memos and deep‑dive analyses for internal decision‑making
- Support deal execution, coordinating with founders, co‑investors, and internal and external stakeholders
- Work with portfolio companies post‑investment on strategic, product, and operational initiatives
- Build and manage relationships with founders, operators, and ecosystem partners across the region
- Help improve and scale our internal investment processes and tooling, with a particular emphasis on applying AI to how we source, run diligence, and manage knowledge
- Independently drive communications and processes on behalf of senior team members, both internally and in engagements with founders and other ecosystem stakeholders
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- 1 to 3 years of full‑time experience in a fast‑paced environment, ideally spanning both business and technical contexts (e.g., software/product, consulting, banking, investing, strategy)
- A strong, structured analytical thinker, comfortable moving between business and technical topics
- Able to engage credibly with founders and translate technical concepts into business implications
- Comfortable performing both business analytics (e.g., market sizing, retention, LTV/CAC, returns) and technical analysis (e.g., system architecture, technical feasibility)
- Familiarity with financial modeling, cohort analysis, product/technical evaluation
- Curious about technology, startups, and how new products create commercial and societal impact
- Self‑driven, organised, and able to manage multiple workstreams independently
- Independent and proactive with a can‑do attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and a strong work ethic
- A strong written and verbal communicator who can synthesize complex ideas clearly
- A relationship‑builder with existing interest in, or a network within, the European startup and venture ecosystem
