We are looking for an experienced Business Change Analyst to lead on digital transformation projects within the Trust. This key role will support the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) procurement exercise and the Digital First Programme, ensuring that new systems and processes deliver measurable improvements in patient care and operational efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the Trust's digital future and improve services for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business change activities for EPR procurement and Digital First initiatives.
  • Engage stakeholders at all levels, using negotiation and facilitation skills to overcome resistance and embed new ways of working.
  • Analyse, document, and redesign business processes to ensure efficiency, usability, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and change management plans.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to other Business Change Analysts within the programme team.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to ensure system configuration supports accurate, timely information for patient care.

  • Educated to Master's level in IM&T or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of change management, business process redesign, and project management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within challenging timescales.

Job Description

The IM&T Business Change Analyst will lead on business change activities for the Trust-wide Electronic Patient Record (EPR) procurement and Digital First Programme. Responsibilities include analysing and redesigning processes, engaging stakeholders to embed new ways of working, developing standard operating procedures, and ensuring systems deliver measurable improvements in patient care and efficiency. The role also involves mentoring other analysts, supporting training, and providing expert advice across multiple workstreams.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Masters level qualification in an IM&T discipline or equivalent experience; experience of working within an IM&T Clinical Programme or change environment; change management qualification or equivalent experience

Desirable

  • Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation and/or Practitioner

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Knowledge and practical experience of change management and business redesign
  • Knowledge of project planning, implementation and management within a formal project management framework e.g. PRINCE2
  • Business process mapping and workflow diagram techniques
  • Customer relationships and delivery of service improvements
  • Subject matter expert for area of responsibility

Desirable

  • Understanding of NHS policies and strategies, including Data Protection & IG Toolkit requirements

Experience

  • Experience of working in a change environment with multiple stakeholders and securing engagement to deliver change
  • Experience delivering business process/change initiatives within a project management environment
  • Experience of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Experience of writing reports and change-related documents for diverse audiences

Desirable

  • Supervising and mentoring IM&T staff, particularly business change analysts
