The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a diabetes dietitian to join the dietetic team at Hereford County Hospital. The dietetic team comprises 16 dietitians and 4 dietetic assistants. The diabetes dietitians work closely with the wider diabetes MDT to provide one‑to‑one and group education, promoting self‑management to patients with all types of diabetes across Herefordshire. Specialist services include antenatal service, insulin pump clinics and young adult clinics. Post‑registration experience in diabetes is desirable for this post; however, training can be provided and the successful candidate will be supported by Band 7 diabetes dietitians.

The successful candidate will be responsible for running face‑to‑face and virtual outpatient clinics and structured education groups, treating all types of diabetes, including HCL and insulin pump therapy. The caseload will include paediatric diabetes and transition age groups in addition to adult patients.
