An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated registered adult nurse to join our Respiratory team based at Hereford County Hospital on Arrow ward, comprising a 24-bedded area. We are seeking a motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide seamless care. You will have the support of our experienced band 6 & 7 nursing team, therapists, doctors and colleagues.
Key responsibilities:
- Facilitate multi-disciplinary patient-centred care.
- Support and supervise new members of staff and students.
- Occasionally accept responsibility for the management/leadership of the ward department in the absence of a senior nurse.
- Facilitate a safe working environment by ensuring risk assessment is updated and robust documentation is completed.
