We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Casual Charter School Bus Driver to join our team based in Hastings.
This role is ideal for an experienced heavy vehicle driver who enjoys working with school students and taking pride in delivering safe and dependable transport services.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
- Morning Shift: 7:39am - 10:39am
- Afternoon Shift: 1:21pm - 4:21pm
Applicants must be available between shifts as additional charter work may become available throughout the day.
There may also be opportunities for overtime and weekend work.
About the Role
- Safely transport school students on scheduled charter services
- Conduct pre-start and end-of-shift vehicle inspections
- Provide excellent customer service to students, schools and the community
- Comply with all road safety, company and legislative requirements
- Complete required paperwork and reporting accurately
About You
• To be successful in this role, you will have
- HR Licence (Heavy Rigid) or higher
- Ability and confidence to drive a manual transmission vehicle
- Previous heavy vehicle driving experience preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and professionalism
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and flexible availability
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Driver Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
