Our leading UK infrastructure client is seeking an experienced Technology Lead to manage IT solutions that directly support business functions and ensure strong alignment between technology delivery and business objectives. This is a key leadership role requiring a solid background in ERP systems, alongside excellent stakeholder, team, and vendor management skills.
The successful candidate will bring a foundation in hands-on SAP technical delivery, combined with proven experience operating in a strategic, business-facing capacity, driving solutions across Finance, HR, and Supply Chain/Logistics functions.
You will bring strong knowledge of Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Logistics solutions, with the ability to lead large-scale, complex IT programmes that address overarching business needs. Working closely with business stakeholders, you will support strategic planning and define roadmaps for continuous improvement, ensuring maximum value from technology investments. You will also oversee software selection, supported by enterprise and technical architecture reviews, while identifying long-term opportunities and challenges to develop plans aligned with organisational goals.
This role requires a willingness to travel to different locations approximately once per week. We are looking for a strong Technology Lead with proven ERP experience who can operate effectively in a dynamic, multi-site environment.
Key Requirements:- Strong team, vendor, and stakeholder management skills
- SAP experience, particularly within ERP environments
- Strong knowledge of Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Logistics solutions
- Ideally from a maritime or logistics industry background
- Ability to lead large-scale, complex IT programmes
- Experience managing system integrators to deliver business outcomes
- Experience planning and managing IT programmes, including budgeting, resource management, and delivery oversight
Location: Remote, ideally based near Southampton, Hull, Newport, or Cardiff, with willingness to travel
Salary: Up to £100,000 plus bonus and benefits
