Global logistics client is now searching for a Senior .NET Developer to lead a team of developers and work on innovative internal system development projects. This role will focus on enhancing our clients cloud security, containerisation technologies and overall software architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Engineers and provide guidance/mentoring.
- Design and develop scalable and secure .NET applications.
- Use Docker/Kubernetes to implement containerisation technologies for efficient deployment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define software requirements.
- Ensure the team comply with cloud security best practices.
- Oversee the full SDLC, from design to deployment.
- Drive continuous improvement across development teams ensuring innovation and the adoption of new technologies.
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience leading software development teams.
- Extensive commercial experience as a Lead .NET Developer - .NET Core/.NET Framework and C#.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (Functions, DevOps etc.).
- Strong experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of cloud security best principles and practices.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps pipelines and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong communication, leadership and mentorship skills.
- Any UI/UX experience is desirable.
This is a permanent opportunity which provides a base salary of up to £70,000 plus excellent benefits. In terms of office location, this role is flexible with 1 day per week in our clients Doncaster office and the rest remote.
