Senior Data Engineer – eCommerce - £650 p/d (Outside IR35) – London (Flexible)

Leading ecommerce client now requires an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a high-impact data team working on a modern, event-driven analytics platform.

This will work on building out scalable, Cloud-native data platforms and high-quality data pipelines to improve their operations and processes.

• Strong commercial experience as a hands-on Data Engineer within the retail, ecommerce, travel space etc.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, streaming)
• Proven experience with Event Sourcing and event‑driven data architectures
• Strong cloud expertise across Azure and/or AWS
• Hands on experience using Python/SQL.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, modern data architecture in a collaborative environment, with real influence over platform design and delivery.

The role is an initial 6‑month contract which provides a daily rate of £650 p/d (Outside IR35).

In terms of working structure, this is flexible with one day per week in their London office and the rest remote.
