Programme Manager – Software/application development projects – London based (with international travel required) – Up to £750 p/d (Outside IR35) – Must be French Speaking
A globally recognised travel company is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to lead complex software and application development programmes that will digitalise and modernise its operational processes.
The Programme Manager will define scope, objectives, and priorities, establish the roadmap, and manage resource allocation. They will track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure deliverables meet the highest quality standards while driving improvements in project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in software and application development projects, strong technical expertise, and the ability to provide leadership and guidance. Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels are essential.
This role is based in London but will require travel to Brussels and a French speaker
Key Requirements
- 10+ years’ programme management experience.
- Travel and rail industry experience is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of software development, engineering, and technology infrastructure.
- Skilled at leading teams, driving collaboration, and influencing stakeholders.
- Confident communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experienced in issue resolution, data analysis, and informed decision-making.
- Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies/tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
Location: London (hybrid, with regular travel to Brussels)
Day Rate: Up to £750 p/d (Outside IR35)
