Leading eCommerce client now requires a Network Manager to drive the smooth operation of their network and unified communications systems. This role will manage third party service providers, construct service roadmaps and ensure that current and future network systems are optimally designed, implemented and maintained.

The role:

  • Take ownership of our clients networking and unified communications services and products.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and manage third party contracts/vendors to deliver voice and data network infrastructure.
  • Deliver the strategy for voice, data and mobile network infrastructure (SDWAN, Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, 4/5G Networks etc).
  • Provide technical leadership and manage/co-ordinate team workloads.
  • Ensure overall network solutions are secure and implement security best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong experience implementing and managing LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN, 4/5G solutions.
  • Understanding of voice systems (unified communications and collaboration systems).
  • Proven experience managing third party vendors (Co-ordination & negotiation).
  • Technical leadership experience with the ability to manage direct reports and all matters related to corporate networks.
  • Strong knowledge of implementing security best practices.

This is a permanent position which provides a base salary of up to £85,000 plus excellent benefits. In terms of working structure, this is hybrid with 2 days per week in our clients London office and frequent travel to their European sites.
