A leading change and transformation consultancy is seeking a Manager to join its Strategic Programme Management (SPM) practice in London. This is a high-impact role for an experienced consultant who thrives at the intersection of complex programme delivery, client leadership, and strategic transformation. You will be responsible for turning strategy into execution across large-scale client engagements, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.
You will lead end-to-end delivery of complex transformation programmes while also acting as a trusted advisor to executive-level clients. The role combines hands-on delivery leadership with client influence, account development, and contribution to broader practice growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the delivery of complex, multi-workstream transformation programmes from initiation through to execution
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, including Director and C-suite level clients
- Shape client thinking and support the definition and refinement of strategic direction
- Drive delivery excellence, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and to a high standard
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities across large-scale programmes
- Support business development activity, including identifying and developing new and existing client opportunities
- Contribute to internal capability development and thought leadership within the practice
- Support account growth strategies and long-term client relationship development
- 6+ years’ experience in management consulting, advisory, Big 4, or similar professional services environment
- Strong background in programme / project management within complex transformation environments (SPM experience essential)
- Proven experience leading large-scale client engagements end-to-end
- Demonstrable track record of engaging and influencing senior stakeholders (Director / C-suite exposure)
- Experience contributing to business development, account growth, or solution design
- Strong commercial acumen with structured problem-solving capability
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Degree educated (Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications advantageous)
