Global Payments FinTech scale up now requires a hands‑on Head of Oversight & QA to develop and manage their global QA and distributor oversight frameworks (from scratch).
This role will ensure that internal operations teams and external distributors are operating in accordance with our clients’ policies, regulatory obligations and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the global Distributor Oversight Framework.
- Lead the Operations Quality Assurance programme, setting 1LOD standards for financial crime and complaints handling. (integrating the existing QA function)
- Conduct risk‑based reviews of distributors and programme managers.
- Monitor adherence to standards and agreed controls; support remediation.
- Design review methodologies, sampling frameworks, and thematic reviews.
- Identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Track remediation activities and provide assurance over issue closure.
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in Financial Services/Payments/FinTech, spanning Compliance, Risk, Financial Crime, QA, or Operational Oversight.
- Proven experience designing and implementing QA, Audit, Risk, or Control Testing frameworks.
- Excellent knowledge of regulatory expectations for third‑party/distributor oversight.
- Strong Financial crime knowledge (AML, fraud, sanctions).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- People leadership experience and ability to operate across multiple jurisdictions.
