Leading transport/logistics client now requires a Head of Operational systems to oversee the strategy, development, and optimisation of depot and onboard systems across their UK and European operations. This role will lead major transformation programmes, manage system roadmaps, drive data integration initiatives, and ensure operational excellence across operational systems. Working closely with engineering, operations, and technology teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and staff experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven leadership experience within rolling stock, transport, or industrial systems.
- Strong product ownership and transformation expertise across IT systems for tangible assets (e.g. rolling stock, industrial systems etc.).
- Proven experience managing critical systems (Safety, operations etc.) with minimum to no downtime.
- Experience managing large-scale programmes and system roadmaps.
- Previous experience across data integrations across systems and the adoption of automation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and change leadership skills.
- Fluent in both English and French (Essential).
This is a fantastic permanent opportunity which provides a base salary of up to £120,000 + excellent package. In terms of working structure, this is hybrid with 2-3 days per week in our clients London office and the rest remote.
