We're partnering with a leading consumer-facing business to appoint an Interim Commercial Analytics and Pricing Consultant. This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of pricing, customer analytics, commercial performance and business intelligence. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders across multiple territories to drive better pricing decisions, optimise customer programmes and deliver commercially focused insight. The role combines hands-on analytics with strategic commercial thinking and would suit someone from a retail, hospitality, entertainment, travel or broader B2C environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the performance, profitability and incrementality of customer programmes, subscriptions and commercial partnerships
- Support territories in making data-driven pricing decisions
- Deliver customer segmentation, behavioural analysis and commercial performance insight
- Design and evaluate test-and-learn initiatives, including pricing and promotional activity
- Develop reporting and dashboard solutions across multiple regions
- Integrate data from multiple sources to provide a holistic view of customer and commercial performance
- Support the development of personalised offers, customer targeting and retention initiatives
- Work hands-on with existing pricing, reporting and ERP systems
Required Experience:
- Experience in Pricing Analytics, Customer Analytics, Commercial Analytics or Revenue Optimisation
- Strong understanding of customer behaviour, segmentation and commercial performance drivers
- Experience assessing the impact of pricing, promotions, loyalty or subscription programmes
- Advanced SQL skills
- Strong Power BI and/or Tableau experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Nice to Have:
- Python
- Revenue Management or Pricing Optimisation experience
- Hospitality, entertainment, travel, retail or ecommerce background
- Experience with experimentation, A/B testing or propensity modelling
