A UK-leading retail brand is looking for a talented Systems Administrator to join their dynamic Technical Operations team. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for supporting and optimising Linux platforms across IBM PowerVM and VMware ESXi environments, helping to keep their critical systems running smoothly and efficiently.
Working closely with the Infrastructure Manager and a team of skilled mid-range administrators, you’ll be hands-on with enterprise-grade infrastructure and involved in both BAU and project-based work.
The ideal Systems Administrator will have the following skills/experience:
- Solid background in Linux system administration (RHEL, SLES)
- Hands-on experience with RedHat Satellite Server
- Strong knowledge of IBM Power and VMware environments
- Bash scripting and troubleshooting skills
- Great communication and a team-first attitude
Salary: £55,000–£60,000pa
Location: Northampton – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
