SAP Tax Project Manager – £600 (Outside IR35) 12 months

Global Pharmaceutical client now requires a Tax Project Manager to lead the management of SAP Tax transformation. Youll likely be an experienced tax project manager, having worked in a large corporate environment and have experience of technology enabled tax transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver tax workstreams ensuring these are delivered in line with stakeholder and programme expectations.
• Define and develop project plans and timelines.
• Oversee the whole project lifecycle (risk assessments, testing, quality assurance and deployment).
• Partner with deployment leads to manage deployment activities and the impact on group functions.
• Manage project resources & allocation.
• Build partnerships and work with cross functional teams to ensure effective planning and delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Strong Project/Programme management experience within a Tax/Finance transformation environment.
• Experience with technology enabled finance transformation Preferably the implementation of tax engines.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working within an enterprise environment, adhering to fast paced deliverables.
• Desirable: Experience of SAP ECC or S/4 HANA.

Additional skills:

• Minimum of 10 years experience of project management in tax &experience of technology enabled tax transformation in large corporate environments.
• Experience of SAP ECC, S/4HANA would be advantageous
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills- flexible approach.
• Ability to adapt a hands-on approach to ensure deliverables / deadlines are met.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

This is a 12-month contract role which provides a daily rate of £600 (Outside IR35).

In terms of working structure this is hybrid with 2-3 days per week in our clients Luton office.
