We are looking for an experienced and highly organised Office Manager to join one of the UKs leading sporting clubs based in South London. This is a part-time role (approximately 4 hours per day) with flexibility around working hours. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who can take ownership of office operations, HR processes, and compliance, while acting as a key point of contact for staff and management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing employment contracts and maintaining accurate employee records
- Administering payroll processes
- Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR, CASC regulations, and general office policies
- Managing health & safety requirements, including risk assessments
- Handling complaints, investigations, and employee relations matters
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the office
About You:
- Proven experience in an Office Manager or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of HR practices and employment procedures
- Solid understanding of compliance requirements (e.g. GDPR, health & safety)
- Confident in handling sensitive matters such as disciplinary and grievance cases
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Able to lead and support a small team effectively
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Understanding of a sports club (nice to have)
Location: South London
Hours: 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day
Salary: Up to £50,000
