We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join one of the UKs leading sporting clubs in South London. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to support the Bar Manager in delivering an exceptional food and beverage experience.

The ideal candidate will bring strong industry knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a positive, can-do attitude, alongside excellent customer service and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the bar, including food and beverage service
  • Supporting staff rota planning and scheduling
  • Recording staff hours accurately for payroll processing
  • Assisting with team leadership, training, and performance management
  • Ensuring high standards of health & safety compliance
  • Managing stock levels, placing orders, and supervising deliveries
About You:
  • Proven experience in a food and beverage or bar environment
  • The ability to work evenings & weekends
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both customers and team members
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
