Senior Care Assistant - day shifts - immediate start in Barnet, N20.
Ventry Care is recruiting Senior Care Assistants to our residential care home. We care for older persons / older persons living with dementia.
Rate from £14.00 per hour, plus great benefits and career development to management for candidates who can excel in the role.
The ability to work flexibly around your family or other commitments, we can offer between 24 and 36 hours per week 4 to 5 days.
THE ROLE
- To run a shift to ensure the care needs of our service users are met; organising your staff team around medication, personal care, continence, moving and handling, mealtime support, social activities, and those other tasks required.
- To build strong professional relationships with all those around you; making sure family and friends feel welcomed, that health care professionals are kept well-informed, and that you are keeping your manager up to speed with residents' needs and progress.
- To be a team player, following guidelines and policies, and having good written and IT and systems knowledge to support residents' care plans and record keeping.
